Slate chippings are a versatile ground covering that can be used in multiple areas of the garden.

The majority of UK slate comes from Wales, Cornwall and Cumbria and has three natural colours: plum, blue and green slate, all of which will provide impact and a natural quality to your garden.

There are several decorative uses for slate in the garden, which is available from us in two sizes; 20mm and 40 mm.

For use on pathways slate chippings are smoother and flatter than gravel, which makes them easier to walk on. Whichever colour you choose for your garden path it will always look vibrant especially when wet.

The smaller slate chippings are ideal to use for ground cover or as a mulch around plants in the border or in containers.
